Ramster Garden and Tea house are open 1st April – 17th June 2012 daily 10am – 5pm
Ramster is a beautiful mature woodland garden set in over 25 acres, it has lakes, ponds and a wonderful meandering woodland walk. The garden boasts an outstanding collection of fine Rhododendrons and Azaleas which are in bloom in early spring with stunning varieties of Camellias, Magnolias and April/May the glades and woods are carpeted in scented bluebells.
There are many rare trees and shrubs, wild flower areas, the bog garden with its giant stepping stones and huge Gunnera enchant children and the peaceful enclosed Tennis Court Garden with raised beds and a central fountain. It is an enchanting garden that is maintained in such a way as to allow meadow grasses, wildflowers and orchids to flourish and flower later in the year.
The Teahouse is open daily 10am-5pm for refreshments including wonderful selection of cakes.
Admission to the garden is £5.00 children under 16 are free of charge, season tickets are great value and allow unlimited access to the garden for the open period, family season ticket is £25.00 Individual season ticket £15.00. Groups of over 10 get a 10% discount per person (entry £4.50 per person)
