Haslemere is the most southerly town in Surrey, it’s located between London and Portsmouth, and has easy access to and from it via roads and rail.
The A3 is the road that connects Portsmouth and London. Haslemere is located a few miles from the A3, close to where the Hindhead tunnel was built. This is usually the best route to take to get and from Haslemere, especially if you are coming from or to London, Kingston, Guildford, Portsmouth or Petersfield.
Haslemere has links via its railway station which is operated by South West Trains. It is one of the primary stations between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour, and almost every commuter train stops at the station. Waterloo is a mere 50 minutes via a fast train, and you can get to Gatwick Airport by changing at Guildford and London Heathrow via coach at Woking.
Haslemere has local service buses to the towns and villages that surround it, and also buses services from Aldershot, Guildford, Godalming, Farnham and Chichester.
